Frequently Asked Questons...

Do I need an insurance license to join National Care?

You can sign up and start training for this new career without having an insurance license; however, you cannot start serving clients until you get licensed in your state (this is required by all states). Getting licensed opens the door for you to make unlimited income and can be pretty easy! After you join our team, you will be immediately directed on how to get licensed in your state. Your state's licensing cost, which is paid to your state (not to National Care) - this is not due until you take your test, which you can take whever you choose.

After I sign up and pay my fee, what happens next?

National Care’s Contracting Team operates during normal business hours from 9am to 5pm Eastern and observes all Federal holidays. Please allow 1-2 business days to receive an initial communication welcoming you to the team and requesting completion of your on-boarding forms. Please check your spam folder to be certain the communication did not accidentally go to your spam. If more than 2 business days have passed, and you still have not received anything, please contact National Care via Facebook or at producerquestions@NationalCareFinancial.com, and someone will get back to you as soon as possible to confirm the status.

How long does it take to get licensed?

The pre-licensing process can take anywhere from 1 week to 1 month or more - based on how quickly you study. You can choose to self-study by purchasing course materials or take an online course. The pace is completely up to you, and National Care does not have any prescribed timelines for obtaining your license. Keep in mind the sooner you get licensed, the sooner you can start selling!

Does National Care offer a pre-licensing course to help with studying for the licensing exam?

Yes, National Care has partners with several online test-prep companies who can help you get licensed, if you are not already.

What does the monthly fee to National Care cover?

National Care is pleased to offer our agents significantly higher commission rates than are typically offered by most other career and independent agencies - up to 60% higher than our competition. That said, the Agency essentially takes less of an override (profit) off of the business you write to ensure we can offer you extra competitive compensation rates. The fee that is paid to National Care helps to ensure we can provide the back office and marketing support needed to offer you access to services and carriers that help you grow your business.

Are there team members in my state that I can connect with for support?

We have team members nationwide, which you can access at any time via our online National Care Team Hub on Facebook. We also have weekly virtual trainings, and local trainings throughout the year. You can also request that a senior team member mentor you.

What type of training is offered to team members?

All team members are provided with access to our full training suite, which includes over 100 videos and podcasts. Also, we have multiple trainings which can be attended virtually every week. Newcomers are also encouraged to participate in our FastStart Training.

Do you help us find clients or provide leads? If so, what is the process for obtaining leads?

Yes, you have the option to purchase leads, which range from $2-$45 per lead. Many team members LOVE this and make almost all of their insurance income from leads. Also, leads can be a great way to get clients outside of your friends and family.

Will I have an accessible Mentor with which I can reach out to for assistance?

You can request this upon joining; you can also collaborate with any team member that you choose. Many individuals have utilized via the Facebook Team Hub to identify team members located in close proximity (or with advanced product expertise) to help with getting started selling.

Will this opportunity allow me to keep my full time job, and build around my current job?

Yes, this is a 1099 role. We do not limit outside employment. Many individuals work this as a part-time job opportunity. The flexibility allows you to set your schedule and work the business whenever you are free outside of your full-time or other employment.
